Having grown up around the fire service, my top priority is to continue making a positive impact in the community, which is why I serve the citizens of Mountain View Fire and Rescue.
With over 26 years of experience in the fire service, I have held volunteer positions with Maple Valley Fire and Life Safety and Mountain View Fire and Rescue. I have also worked my way up through the ranks as a career member with the City of Snoqualmie Fire Department. These experiences have given me a holistic approach to decision-making, allowing me to support the needs of our community effectively.
My background in training, risk reduction, strategic planning, and accreditation has shown me the importance of collaborating with all stakeholders within our service area. This collaboration ensures that the district makes sound and sustainable decisions, including maintaining appropriate staffing levels, providing quality equipment, and ensuring safe and reliable facilities. I believe in accountability and transparency and will work to earn and maintain the trust of our district.
